A Fortnight Old

Hooray! I'm two weeks old today!
















I know it seems like all I do is sleep . . .








. . . but there are moments when I have my eyes open.


Plus, there were some exciting events this week. On Wednesday night, a big storm knocked out our electricity. Daddy lit some candles, but we ended up going over to Grandma T's to stay the night. The blackout didn't bother me, and I got some great sleep at Grandma's.

The biggest thing is that I got to meet my cousin Josie!

Wow, she looks so much bigger than me. I'd better keep eating if I want to catch up. Speaking of which, I got weighed at the doctor's and I had gained back the weight I lost in the first week, plus 4 ounces! So I was 8 pounds, 10 ounces last Friday, and Mommy thinks I'm probably past the 9-pound mark by now.



I also got to meet the little girl who lives across the street. She's almost a year old. Mommy says we can play when I get bigger.

The other big news is that my umbilical cord stump thingy fell off. I know it's gross, but it was a big step for me to get my belly button!

All right, I'm pretty tired from all this work updating the blog. Time for a nap.

Happy One Week Birthday to Me!

I can't believe I'm a whole week old today! I've met so many people already and spent so much time with Mommy and Daddy. I made it just in time for Father's Day this past Sunday, and I had a very refreshing bath this morning.


Daddy finally got around to putting video of my big entrance on YouTube.
I hope he got my good side!

Hello, World!

Hi to all my new relatives and friends! I know I heard a lot of your voices when I was still in my mommy, but it's nice to see your faces for the first time. Mommy and Daddy say there are still lots of people who haven't even met me yet, so I decided there should be one place to go for new pictures and videos of me. I told Daddy to get to work editing the footage he shot in the hospital, so be on the lookout for that.
